~Precious Remembrance and Festive Friday~

Friday, October 10, 2014

Hello, everyone!  I have a project up at Precious Remembrance today that's kind of fun!  I used the little owl from the Beware set to create a resin pendant…Jillian loves it!  It was such a fun little project…you might want to check it out!

Also, today marks a new challenge over at Festive Friday

…how lovely!  Here's my take…

Pretty darn simple…and there's that Simon Says 'Christmas' die again!!!  Oh well…hope you like!!!  I know you'll enjoy what the other gals have cooked up, too!  Head on over to Festive Friday if you're interested in joining in the challenge!

Thanks for stopping in today!!!

  2. Gerri! Loving the snow glitter dots. Per usual, you have cleverly composed the card so that I'm left wondering, "How did she do that?"! Did you really glue on dots punched from glitter paper (whoa), or did you use a stencil and paste and then glitter it before it dried? Such a simple composition and it has such a great impact. Your taste is flawless.

Hope all is going well in your life. If I remember correctly, you were struggling with the time you spent posting and commenting vs other activities in your life. I have just posted for the first time in a dog's age, and I have been doing some work that I've always wanted to do, but just doesn't fit a challenge. The net result is having no blog visitors, and why would I?! I'm so happy that you are getting a card posted now and then, because I never tire of seeing your gorgeous style. Hope you're having some fun too, with decorations you've made for all the upcoming holidays.

Thank you for continuing to share your wonderful creations. It helps make my world a bit more beautiful.

    Happy Fall

    1. Hey, Marcie!!! Great minds think alike because I was thinking of you just this week! Yes...still struggling...enough so that while typing in the late hours last night, I knew I should have gone back and added about the stencil and embossing paste I used...both from Simon Says...but I was too stinkin' tired and hoped that if someone didn't know--they would ask...and then YOU visited!!! Thanks for your question, and you'll be hearing from me again soon!:)

  4. I don't think anyone could possibly get tired of this "Christmas" die! It's such a jolly font! The snow is amazing! Did you glue on each individual dot? If so, a HUGE wow! Well worth the effort!

  5. SSS list....snow stencil, Christmas word die....sigh...didn't I just place an order with them? LOL Enabler! This is absolutely gorgeous. The contrast of the glittery snow drops and the red stamping and die cut is superb! Oh and by the way, that owl necklace is super duper fun! Hugs!

I'm swooning once again over the elegance of your creation; simple, yet stunning. In awe...Dare I ask where the Merry images are from?? Love this oodles!
